What is a Detroit Pizza?
Our Detroit pies are square, thick and fluffy, surrounded by a wall of crunchy cheese!! Lighter than a Sicillian pizza, closer to a focaccia style of dough. We offer two sizes, regular and large. The regular is 8in x 10in, has 6 slices and feeds between 1-3. Our larges are 10 x 14, 8 slices, feeds between 1-5. We also do slices of Detroit style
What’s a Bar Pie
It’s a thin pan pizza originally from the south shore of Massachusetts. Thin, buttery and a little flaky. They only come in one size, a 10in round pizza with cheese out to the edge!
Anything other than pizza?
Of course! We offer fresh salads, crispy wings, melty mozzarella sticks, and sandwiches on our house baked sesame focaccia!
Are you from Detroit?
Nope! I’m from Buffalo! But fell in love with the style back in the day at Jaggers Pizza in Emory Villiage
A little about us…
We’re a family run pizza shop started by Ben & Kimberly Horgan in 2022, with help from their two children.
Ben got his start making pizzas 20 years ago at Everybody’s Pizza. His career has taken him from small cafe’s to Twain’s and finally to Oakhurst!
Kimberly also has a extensive culinary background including stops with Pine Street Market, Little Tart Bakeshop and the Pastry Chef at Butter & Cream
